The philosophy of Daughters of Miriam Center/The Gallen Institute is that its extraordinary programs and services must remain available to as many elderly people as possible.  To accomplish this goal, it must depend on the philanthropic assistance of the community.  As the gap between the cost of care and reimbursements from government and insurance sources widens, charitable contributions are more essential than ever.
