Yizkor

During the High Holiday services on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret (two days after Sukkot), the last day of Passover and on Shavu'ot, the Yizkor prayer is recited by those who have lost a close relative. It is also traditional at this time to practice tzedakah.
